What Jamie is

Jamie is a German, EU-hosted meeting notetaker with no bot, aimed at privacy-sensitive work such as finance, law, consulting and healthcare. Its desktop app records your device’s audio and microphone and detects Zoom, Meet and Teams calls.

Where Jamie is stronger

Jamie keeps data in the EEA, Switzerland and the UK, and says it never trains on it. It learns voices so speakers are named in later meetings, supports more than 80 languages, and connects to finance CRMs like DealCloud.

Where Aside differs

Jamie’s docs say audio is uploaded to Frankfurt for transcription and then deleted. Aside transcribes on your Mac, so audio is never uploaded, and keeps the recording so you can play it back.

Help during the call

In Jamie’s Sidekick you can ask questions about the live meeting. Aside can guide you without being asked: your goals fill in as you cover them, one line suggests the next move, and the answers you prepared appear when the topic comes up.
